End Child Hunger
End Child Hunger in Alabama (ECHA) is a public movement addressing the critical issues of hunger and food insecurity facing Alabama’s children and youth. In 2013, ECHA was launched as an effort to move Alabama into the top 25 percent nationally in child food security. Since its beginning as the first outreach initiative of the Hunger Solutions Institute at Auburn University, ECHA’s network has grown to include public and private sector partners from around the state.
Feeding America
The Feeding America network is the nation’s largest domestic hunger-relief organization, working to connect people with food and end hunger. Donors, staff, and volunteers all play an important role in our efforts to end hunger in the United States. Feeding America’s nationwide network of 200 food banks and 60,000 food pantries and meal programs provide food and services to people each year.
FRAC
FRAC is the leading national nonprofit organization working to eradicate poverty-related hunger and undernutrition in the United States. The Food Research & Action Center improves the nutrition, health, and well-being of people struggling against poverty-related hunger in the United States through advocacy, partnerships, and by advancing bold and equitable policy solutions.

Mazon
For more than 36 years, MAZON has been committed to ensuring that vulnerable people have access to the resources they need to put food on the table. MAZON is a leading voice in the anti-hunger field, developing strategic initiatives focused on communities that are at particular risk of hunger and have often been overlooked. By promoting systemic change through better policies at the federal, state, and local level, MAZON seeks to ensure that our elected officials understand and consider the needs of the millions of Americans who struggle with hunger. MAZON provides training and resources to anti-hunger organizations in the most food insecure states in the U.S., maintaining a network of hundreds of partners and developing strategic initiatives to advance policies that end hunger and the systems that allow it to persist.
Share our Strength
Share Our Strength’s is an organization dedicated to ending hunger and poverty in the U.S. and abroad. Through its campaigns, like No Kid Hungry, which will end childhood hunger in the United States, and Cooking Matters, which helps low-income families learn to shop and cook healthier. No Kid Hungry is a national campaign run by Share Our Strength, a nonprofit working to solve problems of hunger and poverty in the United States and around the world. After 25 years of successfully investing in local nonprofits and helping find the best approaches to eradicating poverty and hunger, Share Our Strength launched No Kid Hungry in 2010. As a child hunger organization, ending childhood hunger is our primary focus, though Share Our Strength continues to invest in and develop other campaigns.
