Feeding Alabama ("we," "us," or "our") respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect through our website at feedingalabama.org, how we use it, who we share it with, and the choices you have. By using our website, you agree to the practices described here.

Information you provide directly. When you make a donation, sign up for our email list, register for a program, or contact us through a form on our site, you may provide personal information such as your name, email address, mailing address, phone number, and payment information. Donations and payments are processed by our third-party donation platform (see "Donations" below); we do not store your full payment card details on our servers.
Information collected automatically. When you visit our website, we and our service providers automatically collect certain technical information, including your IP address, browser type, device information, pages viewed, and how you arrived at and navigate our site. We collect this information using cookies and similar technologies (see "Cookies and Analytics" below).

We use the information we collect to:
- Process donations and send you donation receipts and acknowledgments
- Respond to your questions, requests, and form submissions
- Send you email updates, newsletters, and information about our programs, if you have opted in
- Administer and improve our programs and services
- Understand how visitors use our website so we can improve it
- Protect the security of our website and comply with legal obligations
Donations
We use Classy (GoFundMe Pro) to process online donations. When you make a donation, the information you provide is collected and processed by Classy in accordance with its own privacy policy. Payment card information is handled securely by Classy and its payment processors; Feeding Alabama does not receive or store your full card number. We encourage you to review Classy's privacy policy to understand how it handles your information.
Email Marketing
We use HubSpot to manage our email communications and contact relationships. If you sign up to receive emails from us, your contact information is stored and processed through HubSpot. Every marketing email we send includes a way to unsubscribe, and you may opt out at any time. HubSpot processes this information in accordance with its own privacy policy.
Forms
We use Gravity Forms to collect information you submit through forms on our website, such as contact requests and program-related forms. The information you enter is transmitted to us and may be stored in our website database and/or forwarded to the appropriate staff or service (such as HubSpot). Please only provide the information requested and avoid submitting sensitive information that is not necessary for your request.
Cookies and Analytics
Our website uses cookies and similar technologies to function properly, remember your preferences, and understand how the site is used.
We use Google Analytics to collect information about how visitors use our website, such as pages visited and time spent on the site. Google Analytics uses cookies and may collect your IP address and usage data. This information helps us improve our website. You can learn about Google's practices at policies.google.com/privacy, and you can opt out of Google Analytics using Google's browser add-on.
We use Cloudflare to help deliver our website securely and reliably. Cloudflare processes limited technical information (such as IP addresses) to provide security, performance, and content-delivery services. Cloudflare also provides email-protection technology that helps prevent spam.
Most web browsers let you control cookies through their settings, including refusing or deleting cookies. Disabling cookies may affect how parts of our website function.
Embedded Content
Some pages on our site include embedded content from other websites (for example, videos, maps, or donation forms). Embedded content behaves as though you visited the other website directly, and those sites may collect information about you, use cookies, and track your interaction with the embedded content. We do not control the privacy practices of these other websites.

- With your consent, when you have asked us to share your information
How Long We Keep Your Information
We keep your personal information for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes described in this policy, including donation records and communications, and as required to meet legal, accounting, or reporting obligations. When we no longer need your information, we take reasonable steps to delete or de-identify it.
